SHORT & SUITE – Flexible Instrumentation
– Clarinets / Saxophones / Mixed Woodwind
– 3 short pieces (can be used separately or as a suite)
– all Clarinet and Bass Clarinet parts are below the break
– melody is “shared” so that all players of Parts 1, 2, 3 and 4 have “important” parts!
– Part 5 is optional and can be used to include less confident and/or early beginner performers, as this part can be played using only the notes Bb and F (concert pitch)
Intermediate level…
BAD MOON RISING – Creedence Clearwater Revival – Flexible Instrumentation
– Clarinets / Saxophones / Mixed Woodwind
– suits Early Intermediate performers. Part 4 and Part 5 are Elementary Level. Part 5 is optional and can be used to include less competent performers.
CAN’T STOP THE FEELING! (from TROLLS) – Justin Timberlake
– CLARINET SAXOPHONE
Late Elementary Level players can beincluded in the ensemble by using the optional Clarinet4/TenorSax2 part. Clarinet2/AltoSax2 has the melody in bars 4 to 12. Clarinets 2, 3, 4 and Bass Clarinet are not required to cross the break.
Mix & Match! Both of these sets of parts are in the same concert key. A mixed ensemble of Clarinet(s) and/or Saxophone(s) can therefore be catered for by using the two sets of parts.
SHAKE IT OFF – Taylor Swift Flexible Instrumentation
– Clarinets / Saxophones / Mixed Woodwind
– Part 5 (Elementary Level) is optional and can be used to include less competent performers.
TWO GYPSIES – FLUTE CLARINET SAXOPHONE
Mix & Match! All 3 of these sets are in the same concert key, so a mixed quintet/ensemble of Flute(s) and/or Clarinet(s) and/or Saxophone(s) can therefore be catered for by using the three sets of parts. Clarinets do not cross the break in Parts 3, 4 and 5. Part 5 is Elementary Level.
